Mary Beth grew up in Bridgewater, NJ with her parents, her three brothers and usually there was a dog in the house! Her parents say she was born singing. As a young girl her father would push her on the glider and they would sing, “Let’s go fly a kite” and “East Side, West Side”. She was a happy girl who just wanted to be out under the car with her Dad, changing the oil and fixing things. She was very athletic and wanted to become the best at every sport so that she could spend time with her brothers. Her Dad encouraged her in these endeavors and spent many nights teaching her how to “throw like a boy”. She always had a love of children. She used to always answer the question, “What do you want to do when you grow up?” with “A mommy or a nurse.”
